response to acmdude. Do not hesitate to have enteryx procedure done. I am tired of using antacids. I was going to go to ny, however I cancelled out the enteryx procedure. the doctor is too far away from me for follow up treatment. I felt the doctor was competent and a safe procedure. Go for it, as long as your insurance will pay. There just wee too many obstacles for me (payment) this is a wonderful procedure for stomach staphes using the polymer. Gastitis hurts too much and if there is an operation for a cure, do not hesitate! carol kearfott

I have Barrett's esophagus and have considered the Nissen procedure. The Enteryx procedure has more appeal to me but I worry about the long term effects of any foreign object being injected. Comments?
