You should give drinking up for a little bit. You have to let it heal.http://gbondi.blogspot.com

I just turned 21 and I havent been diagnosed with GERD by a doctor yet but the symptoms all lead to that as being the problem. My problems started back in September when I was having trouble breathing. It felt as if there was someone sitting on my chest all the time. I went to the doctors about it and took two pulmonary function tests, which both came out with excellent results. I had a chest xray which revealed a white spot, a later CATSCAN proved that it was an "air-pocket" caused from an abnormal connection near my sternum, possibly caused by an injury. With that aside I noticed my breathing problem worsens with the different foods I eat. I usually eat very well and exercise 5 days a week, but I loved spicy and grilled foods. I normally keep my symptoms under control, during the day I may have slight difficulty taking a deep breath but it has not been stopping me from my daily activities. I registered here because I wanted to ask about drinking with GERD, like I said my symptoms never really bother me that much but when I go out drinking with a few friends, even if it is only 4 beers in the course of 4 hours at night I get severe breathing problems along with difficulty swallowing and irritation in the lower part of my throat. So does this mean I have to stop drinking forever? Is there anything that can be done?thanks in advance
